Before the high build primer did you apply anything to the frame?
After the primer, just scuff and spray? How many coats? Paint and clear?
I've been gathering up courage for an upcoming project. Now I just need knowledge!
Happy new year,
Tom

Hey Tom. I sand blast frame than as soon it's back . The frame get shot in epoxy. Than I do the ruff in body work.( filler) Put it all back in epoxy. Than dust it with high build. On the neck I put a couple coats and block till its as good as I can get it. I try not too build up too much material on frame.....too easy for chips. After its all finished and most of the high build is laying n the floor😂 One coat of sealer than base coat. Than clear. Some frames I use single stage. This being possibly my last bike for myself going a little overboard and I have left over material from other pay jobs😎
Well got the bump out welded on tank to fit the 2014 CVO dash in the 1998 road glide tank. Gaps all tightened up. UPS just dropped off a new dinged up streetglide fender so that's next to get cut up to fit . Might be ready for paint by spring...
Ohhh, I'm very familiar with nitrous, it's like crack. Start off with a little and a month later your using large amounts.
This may be the greatest show on earth, we DO need a Go Pro strapped on him for this one. Personally I think as a audience we need a 2 gear rev limiter bounce recorded to get our moneys worth.
Well your wish came true. At least the go pro one.....I was just given one for Xmas. So maybe a solid mount someplace before paint
Nice spot on the bar next to wood stove to finish cutting wiring harness apart. So many wires that are just not needed.
My Tour Glide is bare frame right now, not going back with radio, cb, all that extra clutter, must be near half the wires. I'll build a new one easier to work with on the bike, don't like the way the original is laid out. I've made hundreds of aircraft harnesses, this shouldn't be hard. I think factory harnesses are made for ease of factory installation and economics.
