Default Kuryakyn phase 7 Lamp

Looking at upgrading my Lo's headlamp was wondering if anybody runs the Kuryakyn Phase 7 on there bikes. If so a couple questions does the lens have a light tint to it or full on chrome and how do you like it? I ride a lot of deer country highway in the mornings so any help would be great.

I run one on my '12 Lo and I love it! I did alot of research, watched tons of videos and decided on the Phase 7 mainly for the peripheral coverage at night. I also ride alot of back country roads around my house at night and you know how those critters like to lurk in the ditches. With the phase 7 I get coverage from fence post to fence post, great for picking up eye shine along the sides. At first I thought that side to side coverage could be coming partly from my passing light but I've turned them off and no, almost all the coverage come from the headlight.

Another reason for the choice was for turning. When making a 90ş turn I've got full coverage, no dark blind spot hiding the curb or culvert, etc.

The one thing I don't like is it's not very bright during the day but I have passing lights that are extremely bright in daylight so I feel I'm being seen just fine. I'll take that trade off for the coverage at night.

I'd definitely buy it again and highly recommend it.

ETA...IIRC, if you still have your stock headlight, you'll have to get a new headlight ring as the stock one won't fit with the Phase 7. I ended up with the Kuryakin (sp?) one with the LED lights surrounding it only because that's all I could fine to fit it at the time. Just something to lookinto before you buy.
