this ia another guy on ig. I told him the steel plate kills the carbon fiber . He offered to make one out of carbon. I think i could put the steal plate on the stock console and just wrinkle black it.
thats a great idea. There may be a bit of work there though. Plate, dash, paint, pump, cap just off the top of my head
edit: still leaves the issue of the ignition switch.
Newer low riders have the ignition switch on the side of the motor where the horn used to be. You could relocate the horn to the front of the frame and probably mount it there...I know it would be a bit of work but just throwing the idea out there...

that would actually be easier since im working with a low rider wiring now. But, i want to keep my horn cover. Looks. I cant seem to locate the ignition switch on the super glide. Is it where it would be on a sporty?

I dm'ed deviantfab he has always answered any questions i have pretty quick. I think im gonna cut the plates my self weld them in, use some bondo so it will be clean then wrinkle black it again. The plate kills the whole carbon fiber look, even if he made it in carbon fiber.

I could be wrong but I think it was in the neck on the 06+ super glides, actually utilized the key if I'm remembering right?
