Unfortunately that size is a legal requirement here in the U.K. Lots of people ride with smaller plates but I've been pulled 3 times now so not worth the risk.

yip 30 pound fine an they also threaten to impound your bike if caught again with smaller number plate.

I was going to initially & I'm not a fan of chrome but I quite like the contrast of black & chrome, when I get the 1st service done I'll be fitting some blacked out casings.
