Hi, quick question. I'm looking at your Hi Flow 587 complete air cleaner kit. Starting retail is 184.95.
When I add all the components separately, it comes to $147.20, and that's with a synthetic air filter & black breather bolts, which are an up-charge when if you order the 'complete kit'.
What am I missing if I purchase everything separately?
Not that I am disputing anything here, but why not email them directly instead of posting it on an internet forum?
Was originally going to do that, but wanted to include screen shots (which I couldn't do on their contact form or in PM) instead of copy and pasting every individual part number. Also, people ask sponsored vendors questions all the time on this forum. Who knows, this may be useful for someone else in the near or distant future.

A quick glance at your list and I see you're missing the second gasket, the mounting screws, the cover fastener, and most importantly the backplate...
Ah, the back plate is probably it. I didn't see that in any of their photos. I knew some mounting hardware was missing, but not $40+ worth.

Buying the kit is worth it I'm running the 587 with smooth chrome bobber cover as well. Bought the complete kit, and then tweaked it to my liking...
Looks good. Pretty much exactly what I'm gong for (again). I had something similar last few years pieced together with this and that, but it fell off last fall going down the highway to never be seen again. Ran the stock pork chop to finish the season. I figure this time I'll do it right.
