Get an 07. They're cheaper lighter faster and do not have throttle by wire. Plus the voltage regulator and TBW issues that the 08 and up had would drive me nuts. 96 cu inch and a 6 speed is good enough once you properly set it up. Sure newer is is nice but payments suck. Anybody that tells you that the 09 model year fixed the bagger wobble issue is sadly mistaken. The 09 and up is just newer and wider. Not better.

As most have said 09+ is best. If you can let go of the bat wing your choices will improve. I recommend a road king standard. A wind shield especially with fork wind deflectors gives much better wind protection. The batwing has serious buffeting at speed. I know I have one and spent a lot of time and $$ getting it where I was happy.

No it doesn't have serious buffeting. It depends on your set-up, your equipment, your arm position, feet position, helmet, etc. etc.

LOL its clearly better. The wobble issue on the newer frame is due to uneven suspension setting left vs. right side.
