Go for it. I had my 08 denim black NRS detailed for sale but the guy BUFFED and shined my air box cover. I was furious, but it sold in a week. Buyer said he liked the shiny look with the dull matte fenders.
Air box cover was buffed and shined by mistake.
I think the 2 different blacks might look good together. Does anyone have any pictures of this?

I've a gloss black EGS myself, and a few flat back parts on it. Want to get a few more done. The mix of the two (2) blacks, and a touch of chrome looks best, IMO.
