Default New to hd forums w/softail questions

So I just recently purchased my second crossbones. Had one back in '09 then fell into the bagger fad. So I come to the he forums world with a few questions for the crossbones and softail owners. Where are the crossbones owners getting their mammoth spoke wheels? Also I'm looking for more information on a stretched rear fender. Thanks in advance.

Welcome,

You can get your fat spoke wheels from Ride Wright, they will be the best ones from a quality/fit/finish standpoint.

Welcome from Middle TN. As for stretched rear fenders you do not have may options for the 200mm. Depending on the length you want, there are fiberglass fenders available from Dragonfly, Sumax and Dirty Bird. I run a Dirty Bird rear fender (pic below). If you want a steel fender your only options are to stretch one yourself or try to find a Softail CVO Convertible rear fender, it's about the length of a stock Heritage rear fender and it's 200mm. I have a Convertible rear fender in reserve just in case I crack my glass fender.
Pic of the Dirty Bird Mullet fender....
