Just picked this up last week. Between rain storms, I've been riding it like a stolen horse.
First thing I did was pull off the pillion/rack, snap in red turn lenses, and move the plate. I'm not happy with where the plate is right now but it's only there until the new "under the light" bracket comes in.
I'm going to be putting on a set of beach bars/risers/grips this weekend. Next week is all about exhaust, tune and helping it breathe a little better.
Coming off a Road Glide, this thing is like a dirt bike. The damned thing just makes me grin when I ride it. Of course, tossing it around like I did the RG is a little rough on the floor boards.
Chris,
Well done I like the look! I'm sure you have plans for the exhaust! What's your plans?
Ranger Rick
Thanks!!!
I think I'm going with something like the Bassani true dual fishtails they have listed over at FuelMoto. I dunno... I still have to do some research to do. I've always ran Vance and Hines on all my junk and the Bassani reviews I've read aren't all that great.
