Mornin, Greg. I was just reading a story about a small mechanized device the Denver Parks Dept. uses to shoo away geese. Apparently a huge goose poop problem in the parks of Denver.
I suspect one should just use the same cedar plank method for preparing carp. Season nicely, bake until tender, throw away and eat the plank.
