Does anyone have or have you seen any hard facts relative to exhaust performance comparison? Same bike, same tuner, different exhaust. Everybody has opinions but I'm looking for facts.
Call D&D in Ft. Worth. They'll set you up with what you're looking for. And yes I have the facts to prove their exhaust does what they say it does. Picked up an extra 15 hp and about 20 more ft/lbs of torque. Went from the V&H Big Radius Pipes to their Fatcat on my'10 FXDWG and then retuned on the same Dyno by the same Tech.

That's an open question, with countless answers! A few clues of what you want to identify will help us help you!
An answer I can give is comparing true duals and a 2-into-1, same bike (carb) same tuning shop and dyno. They gave almost identical headline numbers, however the 2-into-1 Supermeg gave much better low/mid range torque, is far nicer to ride also much smoother running. No turning back for me!
I'm with you, it's a PITA finding any solid information. I do highly suggest hearing them in person too, online videos don't get across half the sound/feel of the different exhausts. The local dealer here was more than happy to turn over any bike they had with an exhaust I wanted to hear, found everyone I was looking for in the used section. Also found the exhaust I liked the sound the most of wasn't on my list. And what was on top... I don't like the way it sounds in person.
Back in the early 2000s, Cycleworld did 2 exhaust comparisons in special issues.. One was on a stock motor 88 ci and another on a SE 95 ci motor. Each had it's own winner. If you find one exhaust that works best in one, it may not be best in the other. The exhaust system needs to match the build of the motorcycle.. With stock bikes that have smogged cams the better flowing pipe will give more HP but once you add a cam with overlap everything changes. Cam timing, head flow, compression ratio, displacement and a dozen other things can determine with exhaust is best..

Reason: Best
Exhaust swap only, RB Racing LSR 2-1 to D&D Boarzilla w/wrapped performance baffle. Picked up 10hp & 3 tq. It is also a fair bit quieter now, enough to notice when riding and noticed by riding partners.

I have done a lot of back to back exhaust test. I have several shop exhausts just for this. What are you looking for?
One thing I have noticed is. Exhaust does make a difference but it also plays along with what cam. Comparing a few different 2-1 exhaust. Along with cam comparison. The 640 responded better to the different pipes over the response of the 266. 640 is a bit more exhaust bias, holds the pressure a bit longer and has more overlap. All things that can play along with the exhaust system. A bit more restriction in the exhaust can lead to better scavenging and cylinder fill on the top.
Bottom line for me. There isn't a one size fits all exhaust system. One persons gain with an exhaust on their combination of parts doesn't mean somebody else is going to see the same results on their combination of parts. Same can be said about a manufactures exhaust for dyna/ softail compared to their longer bagger exhaust.
Hers is one SnS113 Evo motor, 10.8 to 1 compression, bored G, SnS 640 can adv 3 degrees. heads cleaned up but not flowed... Exhaust was a stepped head pipe staggered dual with Glasspack mufflers. The mufflers has a tubes to reduce the exhaust exit from 2 1/4 to 2 inches.. Made about 11 more hp with the baffle removed.. Did loose a little mid range low end tq.. Runs were within 5 minutes of themselves. Same dyno / operator / tank of gas. No tuning between runs.
Pipes make a big difference when you have a bigger overlap cam. motors with no overlap like smogged ones will not make much difference. The new M8 with stock cam makes practically no difference..
You should be able to find some data in the below link. Each video displays the HP and torque. Unfortunately, they do not provide any charts and peak numbers don't really tell the whole story.
