OP, I am in the process of installing the cafe tail section from Burly Brand (the same one included in Ryca kit). It's pretty awesome so far. Great quality, looks awesome. I don't think I'm going to commit to the full cafe style, but cafe racers are huge in CA right now.
Forget the kit and get creative to build something really special. Really the only semi-permanent change I've made is cutting the fender struts off; otherwise everything could be returned to original if desired. Started out as a 2008 XL1200 Nightster.
Not really, the rear wheel has large spoke flanges of the same diameter, whereas on the front wheel one spoke flange is very small and the other not much bigger. The pattern is fine, although the appearance is quite different to the rear. That's wire-spoked wheels for ya!
