I have and have had a number of their shields. There is a very good reason for that. Like most everyone else they make a great product for a very good price, especially when they are running a sale which seems to be pretty often. Actually I don't think I ever paid full price.
I have only been on the forum a short time but have seen more than a few threads on them, mostly in the touring section. If you search LRS or Long Ride Shields I suspect you will find many threads talking about them and doubt you will find much negative, maybe other than having to wait for delivery because of how busy they are.

Use to be good but quality has fallen off recently. I would recommend looking elsewhere.
It would help if you'd be specific. We bought 4 in the last couple years. We had one order that was mixed up and they made it right, great customer service.

I am also curious and hope you will elaborate??? The only issues I have had was receiving a shield with the logo sticker placed on the shield incorrectly. Not a big deal or a deal breaker.
I just bought my first one and took my first ride yesterday with it. Customer Service was great for ordering and afterwards (contacted their facebook and asked if I could wait longer than the 30 days to return it, barring I didn't take the plastic off; had ordered a month ago and the forecast didn't say good weather for a few more weeks).
