So I would just like to give my opinion on the kit.
Quality is superb. Everything is included except a few of the smaller gaskets, but, they do give you loctite which is pretty cool. Install was straight forward with NO issues.
The driveability issue I'm having has nothing to do with their kit, it's something else tuning or electrical.
If I wouldn't have been interested in doing the whole camchest and oil pump part of it and getting a deal for the magazine article I would have used Scott @ Hillside or Kirby @ V-Twin Performance and went with one of their 98" kits. Definitely a better deal and they know their ****.
If you have any question's just let me know and I will try and help.
I'm in SoCal so that won't work. I have another guy here that is going to look at it. He can do PC5 and TTS and has a lot of dyno experience. When I get back from Phoenix Bike Week I'll see what he says.
Still interested in people with knowledge of these cams what they thing.
thanks!

I just thought since you used MCE you were in the area. On the 117 road king we run the 585 with stg 2 style head. It pulls hard to through 5500. On a smaller motor with what "should" be better flowing heads it should rip right to 6,000+ rpm.
No, I wish I was back in Texas, but stuck out here in Komifornia.
Yes I agree on a 100" motor it should pull through 6000+ rpm. DO you have a dyno graph of your 117? Does the curve "nose over" as mine seems to be doing at 4600 rpm or does it follow a more natural curve?

I'll have to dig up the dyno, it did not nose over and came up in the cam early than yours. More of a table top tq which maybe in the pipe, but the d&d should do it. This one is a propipe.

This is a mild build and looks like it pulls to 5000 rpm, but the tq does fall off about the same rpm as yours. It's a low compression touring motor. 10:1
Stock tb on this chart we just put on a 58 hpi and are looking to get it retuned. There is no one in this area to do that. So may end up in Dallas

What size is the engine? Ported heads? Cams? What is it tuned with?
Thanks, David
