Looking at these Road Kings remind me that you just can't get a more versatile motorcycle. I've had a Wide Glide, 750 Yamaha, XLCH and a Harley Hummer (my first Harley) now you know that I am, let's say mature. My present Road King Classic suits my needs. One thing I like about it is that it looks like a motorcycle IMHO.
I do know that if anyone has trouble deciding which Harley to get, I say go for the Road King and you won't be sorry. I am definitely not knocking the other models. The great thing about Harley's is that there are so many different styles

Nice looking ride...it looks brand new. Good find! How do you like the ride between the Delux and the King? When I switched from a Heritage to a RK, it was completely alien until I took my first winding road. It's true nature came out then.
Just got my winter mods done. 16" Twin peaks, mustang super solo, tall boy floorboard re-locators, Power vision with target tune, and a Jackpot super dual headpipe.
My first ride of the season - I had Enforcer take-offs, chrome forks, and HD front cartridges installed over the winter. FWIW- the cartridges make a huge difference on the back roads in NH. There are a ton of frost heaves and before the cartridges, they were pretty rough. Anyway, here are a few photos while it's still shiny...
