All of the 82 and 86 fix units are able to be updated, via a firmware update,

Or if your buying a new one they are shipping now already firmware updated.
Hook up the cable, after the firmware update, from laptop to fix unit and run the new version of the software, 2.0.

To date this is the 4th bike I've done with the 2.0, all different flashes (including my new 2017 ) and yes it does the same for all. It's turning out to be a great unit for simplicity and tuning.
It's not going to replace the TWK or the arc psm, as they are a much higher capable unit, but again simplicity and adjustability are key with this DSP compared to any other. And now with the built in capabilities of the crossover-voltage selection and the 10 band eq it's going to be hard to beat it.
You can simply click the "bypass" button on the "tune" tab to get the "before" calibration sound then click again to get the optimized "after" sound. It amazing to hear and see this. They really did their homework on this unit and may be my go to for regular installs on the 2014+ bikes keeping the factory HU.
Here's what the eq page looks like

Of course for all of us that are banned from filling our bags and packs with any more audio equipment, where are u mounting the JL stuff? Based on the above bag space limitation being the closest alligator to the boat, I think I'm committed to the ARC PSM (regardless of simplicity) unless u have a secret hiding spot in the fairing.

That's the TWK in there but the fix took its place. Even with the JL amp strategically place and the FIX there we have no issue fitting the Harley trunk pack fitted bag in there for trips. Space loss in truly negligible. The 400/4 in in the fairing.
You can fit the FIX in the fairing but requires hacking the metal brace/bracket. Too much work.

Did a complete rearrange and rewire yesterday and actually listened to the 602's with the fronts muted. The difference with the Tour Pak open and closed is like night and day I guess I really never noticed it.
Needless to say, I'm now thinking of changing things up lol
I'm gonna get with BAL next week and probably drop some of those MMat's in the front and see what I can do about the pods also.
and I thought I was close to done...

I've seen pics of the tour paks being ported, but there is a science behind it. Too much or too little can mess you up. Replacing tour paks isn't cheap. LOL
