Picked up my new tubes!! Seals are done, they are ready to install tomorrow. Going +4 on them it's going to look like the 70s again!! I'll be sure to post some pics.
Been trying to do this bar install since last night. Taking my time and getting the bars wired internally was a pain until I used some grease. Now the fun comes with replacing the throttle/idle cables and the clutch cable. I have chosen not to remove the tank and I know that would make my process much easier. Maybe I will end up doing that...

Looking forward to seeing that. I'm +2" now, thinking about going 2" more.

I used the ball chain (overhead fan pull chain) and dropped it through, then used electrical tape on the wires and pulled them straight through while guiding them through the back
Easy peasy
Finished my bar install. I am pleased with how it turned out. Nash Gimps 16". I went +6 on all lines but I should have only gone +4 on the brake and clutch. The throttle and idle are fine at current length.
I added thunder torque inserts to the shortshots on my super glide. I figured it would only take an hour at the most but it ended up taking over 3. My fault as I tried to install the inserts without removing the pipes, which turned out to be possible due to the angle of the baffle screws. Also I thought I had accidentally unplugged the O2 sensor for the rear cylinder and spent about an hour looking for the connector. Once I found it I saw that it had been jumpered across as part of the OPs power commander install and the O2 sensors left in place. No wonder it came "unplugged" so easy.
Also, I mistakenly ordered the W158s instead of W118s and they're too big. I made them work by leaving the jam nut off until I get the right ones. Because they are too big I also didn't with them all the way closed. It sounded like a stock LRS until I opened them nearly half way. I'm learning tons!
Then I went on a 60 mile ride to a nearby state park and washed the bike after. I'm calling it a good day.
Oh and a question. When I pulled those baffles out, they were covered in black soot. Is that a sign of running rich or is it normal for a Harley?
