Dropped it off yesterday at the dealer for warranty work, shifter shaft has been giving me issues since I bought the bike, the shift lever seemed to always walk off of the shaft. Finally gave up the ghost and went limp on me yesterday, shifting by hand isn't fun either. Happened on my birthday no less...lol just my luck. Waiting for a call today, hoping they have the parts in stock...
Happy Birthday, sir. Good luck on the repair. Hopefully quick and painless... tp

The boy came home from school for a week so it was time to accomplish a few mods we have seen you guys do. He hasn't been home since Xmas so we are riding and wrenching this week.
Added DK Customs 2" risers to the stock bars, no issues with brake or clutch cables there.....threw on the GBG license plate relocation kit last night.
Have the Love Jugs Mighty Mite fans to throw on next but waiting for the SB horn bracket to show up before we can do that. May just have to wait until he graduates next month and comes back home.
Thanks to all for the great ideas on the forum and the technical help. Great information here.
How do you like ride now with the 2" risers? More comfortable?? Do you have any pics from the front of the bike after installing the risers? Curious how much the bars stick up over the stock screen...
Installed the $50 Amazon daymaker, better light dispersion than the LED plug in bulb, I don't know what all the reviewer idiots are doing to have issues with install on Amazon but it plugged right in 5 min at most Attachment 505962 Attachment 505964

Tincup you are the man! I was thinking how I was going to cut mine and weld an inch or two extension in but that might be a far easier. You saved me some time and a lot of back pain my friend.
I just finished my +4s and can't wait to ride it. Let us know how it handles and say hi to Watson(the cat right, I'm bad with names) for me.
