LED's all around on my 05 Dyna with Triple Play Option (Flash 3 Times on Braking) in the Rear with all 3 Lights lit for Run/Stop/Turn .. Definitely done for a while .. Got a little over 8K in a Ride that is probably worth 6 Tops, but wasn't planning on selling it or worrying about resale anyway ..

Did you keep the TSSM and just add the triple play? I had the Illuminator Pro III and liked everything about it but the self-cancelling timer. It was too short. Always cancelled itself while sitting at lights.
I hear ya about dumping money into a "worthless" ride. Mine is the same. I don't care, tho. Not planning to sell.
I've avoided the LED craze; no turn signals, no headlight bulbs, no daymaker style headlights. I don't care to fool around with the CANbus system, it's a touchy little snot.
I did want more headlight, so I finally decided to dip my toe in and order one of the knock-off LED headlights just to see if it was worth it.
Installed it today; wow, it's hella bright! I always use the SMIDSY move and the high/low passing switch in intersections and whenever a vehicle can violate my right of way and the added lighting will be a great aid.
Now the bad; my CANbus thinks the headlight is out. CANbus needs at least 1.2A on the headlight circuit so now that moronic red electrical diagnostic light is glowing at me; I hope when I can finally start the bike for the first time this season either Saturday or Sunday it will figure out the headlight is working and clear with the bike running; yea, right
I love the added lumens but my OCD hates that diagnostic light looking at me; this is why I never play with the LED's; ah well, it wasn't that expensive if I take the headlight back out and toss it
the red light only comes on when you turn on your high beam, yes?
::: snip :::
Yea, I cheated just a bit; I couldn't decide on length and CCE hard chrome tubes are spendy; this seemed like a good way to test out an added 2" to see if I do want to got the full 4" CCE tubes.
As to the new headlight; when you turn the ignition the engine light and the electrical diagnostic clear, then the electrical comes back on immediately; high beam, low beam, it doesn't care. Annoying.
I'll most likely just live with the little red light glowing back at me; that LED headlight is bright; I understand why people put these things in.
I guess I'll have to spend the long dollar if I want that diagnostic light to go away... I hope, with my luck it'll still be there...

the crap tastic knock-off jw 8690m didn't throw a code. 57 bucks. i had the light come on with the led h4 though, but only on high beam. it would go away after restart, until i used high beam again
it may go away if the bcm learns to deal with it. i remember hearing about some forced learn procedure but never looked into it. i can look in the electronics diag manual for you.
