As of late, I noticed that my clutch pull seemed to be out of spec and it had me shifting all funky and over revving when gettin after it. Finally decided to adjust the clutch to spec and then decided I would do the primary chain adjustment at the same time...only to find that the primary chain was way out of spec! Whipped out the FSM and got it into spec after an annoying amount of time trying to find the tightest spot on the chain. Shifts way better now, and no more sloppy primary chain!

Yes it does.

But it doesn't feel half as good as it will when I'm tooling down the road for the first time.....again.

Did a compression test and found 160psi in the front and 190psi in the rear.

Any help figuring this out would be appreciated.

Here's the thread I started.

Installed 2 1/2 riser with 1" pullback to bring my bars to a better position for me. The only thing I did not contemplate is the resulting angle of the speedo.

Replaced my aftermarket chrome switch covers with OEM Harley Davidson switch covers....much better quality.

Replaced engine bolts with show polished grade 8 fasteners.

Installed more HD chrome on the engine except as mentioned previously, removed head/spark plug covers for better cooling.

bling...bling

Thinking about pulling the trigger on a Mustang Wide Vintage Solo with Backrest, part #79429.

Put on my 412 shocks and replaced my chrome belt guard with a black one I picked up. Put in a K&N air filter, new plugs replaced some rusty bolts then went and had some new tires (Michelin scorcher 31's) put on. Thinking about replacing the engine bolts like hscic mentioned and maybe putting on black foot and hand controls.

Speaking of 412 shocks, I put some 412s on mine a couple years ago. I decided I didn't like the chrome cups at the bottom, so I took them off. My old Sportster now looks pretty stock, and the shocks have more of a stock look without the lower cups.
