Installed a not so quick detach Nostalgia Windshield.

Put a little grease on the windshield mounts where it goes into the grommets. You don't need a lot, just a light coat so the mount does not stick to the grommet. Works like a charm.

I have the same windshield.

It was raining today, so I washed the bike in the rain, pulled it into the garage and polished and waxed it.

Make sure is silicone grease as the petroleum based stuff will attack the rubber.
