Got me a shovel
Sadly though, I had to junk the old barrels as they were bored out of round somehow and were already 0.030" over. I scored a NOS set for a very good price so went with new ones. Hence no broken fins any more :-)
Seeing they are just laying around, would you like to sell them to me ? LOL
Looking forward to more pics.

From my perspective I think you will get binding in your rear wheel if you tighten the axle nut to eliminate the gap in your pic.
To make sure you have the correct spacer on the left side I would recommend getting the motor in, putting in the tranny, torqing the motor in to place, installing the inner primary, securing the tranny, installing the chain and doing a visual to ensure that the chain is running true and straight.
That should ensure that your rear wheel is centered in the swingarm. Now measure for the spacer on the left side. Once that spacer is in place, see if there is any gap on the right side and pehaps a different spacer needed there as well or if the current one is all that is needed.
However - the inner primary is going to need to come off again as I realised that I can't fit the shifter linkage with the primary on - schoolboy error!
Never mind, as I want replace the two front primary to motor mount bolts with new ones anyway. Bit of farting around, but I will also fit a new speedo cable while the primary is off again as it looks like it will be a lot easier to do it then....
Messing around with rear wheel alignment today. I found that the left hand side spacer is the correct size. With the wheel butted hard up against the left side of the swingarm, the centre of the tyre is aligned with the midline of the frame.
Then I took a string line across the flat face of the rear sprocket and across the tranny sprocket - all good and straight.
So now I need a 5mm spacer to go on the right side of the wheel between the brake calliper carrier and the swingarm itself. Ordered that, so all should be good once it arrives.
