Nice looking ride. You could go with the TrueFlex the Custom Dynamics offers and use the side mounting option rather them the back side option. This would allow you to run it along the inside edge of the fender. Just measure the inside edge up to the bends and use that as your overall length, I believe you'll lose an 1" of light do to the .5" ends on the TrueFlex. The TrueFlex has multiple lengths you can order, for some reason they limit the TrueFles 2 to on two sizes. Also, if you go this way, make sure you also get the Dual Convertor so you can use the light as a running light in addition to the brake light.
That's kinda what i went with. I had bought one of the flexy led lights off of Amazon for like 10 bucks to try and get some ideas. Put it in today and mounted it inside the remaining piece of the tail light that never seems to get broken and it seems to work. Took it out today and rode around some bumpy roads and it's still in there This one is running and brake light and has turn signals built into it as well.
