After seeing some of our beloved United States on the back of Wyatt's bike and riding next to Billy, George Hanson was inspired to build this bike!...........At least that what I could have seen happening. Bike has a very nice and classic late 60's early 70's chopper feel to it, good job.
Thanks guys. The late 60s early 70s is the era that speaks to me the most bike wise. That's what I was going for, all in all its been 7 years on that dyna. Paint I did myself. I'm gonna go without a front fender, just side to the side a bit when it rains... I'm going,to leave the fork boots short I like the look with tubes showing. And upstate ny is one of the nicest parts in the US.

Lookin good but I have to say the 'spring seat' spoils it for me...b.
The mounting bases on the market are pretty limiting. To go to a rigid solo pan on a Dyna you almost have to go full custom. It's quite a commitment. Seems like there should be a good sized niche there for a company to offer a truly low profile solo mount.
I'd grown very weary of the '103' derby cover, started stalking eBay for a classic chrome #60766-06 to match my classic chrome timing cover. Scored a classic chrome derby cover new in the box for less than half of HD's asking price, delivered this afternoon.
Keep ticking that clock backward; gratuitous image is gratuitous
This looks awesome. You should post a couple more pictures from different angles.
I've got 2" over tubes already, and sometimes I wished I'd gone 4" over. Now I really do. I might have to do something about that.
I'll post some more when I get a chance. It really doesn't handle as different as I thought it would. And if you go +4s make sure you have a plan for the kickstand. I'm making 2 aluminium spacers to get the bungking block tall enough. Probably going to weld an extension in over next winter.

I can't remember what they're called but I love the 'old-style' seat that is thin and curves right up the 'sissy bar'...b.
