We went for lunch today in Louisiana...Crawdaddy's. 380 miles round trip, 65-75° and 9:39 to 5:30. And my white beard was noticeably darker with the crap in the air. No maps. No pictures.
Nice. I'm hoping to get the wife out for a full day tomorrow....which will be the first of the season.
Took the wife on a pre-Mothers Day ride. We had a blast.
Wine tasting in Utica. Well she did, I don't touch the stuff.
We stopped for a drink at the Psycho Silo Saloon. I had a root beer.

262 miles. But it took us 11 hours. We stopped and visited friends, so that added three hours to the trip, and meant it was dark and much cooler for the final 10 miles.

The Mighty Mississippi. Lock and Dam 12. Lunch in Dubuque. Just a cool roadside spot, near Sabula Illinois. Stretching my legs at Castle Rock State Park, IL. A nice 8 hour total. I was just out wandering, took a few turns just to see where they went.
Nice ride! Wanted to skip work today and hit the Mississippi but some dumbass hackers kept me busy patching servers all day. They could at least have some sympathy for us working folks. Just hack the CEO's or something.
