Fat Bob Squadron - owners check in!
Also nice colour,is standard,i don't think i've seen it on a FatBob before.
I believe it is a Sundowner seat. It was on the bike when I bought it. I keep saying I'm going to change it out for something sportier, but its so damn comfortable.
The color is Candy Red Sunglo which was a stock color for 2008 Fat Bobs.

I had previously purchased a batt cvr bag from BAD&G and was impressed with the quality and sturdiness of the leather product, and so went back to them for a set of matching bags for my FB, models DL-01 & DR-01. It only took about 1-1/2 weeks before I rec'd the bags, and upon opening the box I was happy to see these bags were every bit as good as the batt bag I had purchased from them a couple of years ago.
On the backside of the bag there are 2 mounting straps at the top for attaching to the fender struts. There is also one lower strap for attaching to the brk caliper bracket on the rt side and the belt grd bracket on the left side, which IMO are probably not the best attaching points for long-term reliability.
When I mounted the bags onto the bike, I discovered that the back of the bags were touching the brake caliper and belt grd, and there was only about 1" of clearance between the bottom of the bag and the swingarm. No amount of "fiddling" with the straps was going to change the situation. So I did a search on saddlebag supports and found a supplier in Germany that made bag supports specifically for FB's. The Fehling supports are quality items, perfect fit and a great chrome finish, and they come with assorted hardware for installation purposes. I chose to use my own bolts and washers for a more custom fit to my bike.
The bags are now strapped to the Fehling supports rather than the fender struts, which allow the bags to hang a little higher up and further out on the bike resulting in additional space to clear the swingarm and attached brk caliper and belt grd.
The road test will come in two weekends when I head out to the mountains for a couple of nights, but I'm confident my "pseudo-bagger" will be more than up for the challenge. Below are the requisite pics - thanks for reading, ride safe!

The Best of Harley-Davidson for Lifelong Riders
I feel like I'm getting my hopes up too much about this happening along with a commonized frame between Dynas and Touring bikes.
