Yeah, I need the dimpled one too. I might try a moto bar. Looking at the skid plate and Bates headlight grill as well. Also going to see if there are any handguards for it as well. Maybe a Mustang fastback.

But right now, I am focused on getting it broke in so I can ride it like it should be ridden.

It doesn't interfere with the tach at all, but can with the indicator lights depending on the bar angle.

Hi guys - first post, doing my intro post here. Picked up a new (used) Roadster. The first used one I've seen in my area, and I snatched it up. I don't think I can post a pic until I get 5 posts, so I'll try to hurry it along.

So.... anyone manage to hook up a full windshield to one of the new Roadsters?

Not a fly screen, but a full windshield.

I have an XR1200, with a very similar front end to the Roadster. Currently using a National Cycle Street Shield EX. Works well and not expensive, but not a QD model.

Harley has a QD windshield, but costs 3 times as much.

My bike with NC shield...

Has anyone done the further forwards on a Roadie yet? I am seriously contemplating. I like to be able to stand when I do RR tracks and stuff, and I don't know if they will do ok for that.

Also considering a Mustang Super tripper. Just broke 500 miles today, and am waiting for rush hour to pass, so I can do a little freeway. Did 80 miles last night on it, the bars are ok, the seat ok, but the legs were cramped. I'm using muscles I haven't used in years. I have a sneaking suspicion once I change the seat that I'll need to do something with the bars. Haven't quite decided yet, but that scram up above looks kewl.

Also looking at sissy bars. I need some place to strap groceries.

Thanks for the quick reply. It looks good.
From the pictures on the site, it looks like it attaches to the handlebars only.
Is it secured to the forks also somehow?
And does the XR have similar large diameter upper fork sections, like the Roadster does.

It is secured to the forks too, see pics. The XR and Roadster use similar forks, but yours are from the later model XRX's, all USD style. The windshield is very adjustable in all directions. A small Laminar lip attached to the top improves air flow even more. tp

when I put my mustang vintage seat on it moved me back 3 ". The bars were already to low for me, used a set of iron bars and 1.5" risors extensions. Brake line is at it's limit.
