Have had a DK customs system installed for 1800 miles and have not had any issues. Went out for a ride today and had a smallish amount of oil spew from somewhere on the system onto my pipe and cases. I understand some may be normal, but curious why all of a sudden? No recent changes with the bike. Pic of my set up
Try cleaning that filter.thats not a good spot for it.my hose runs out the bottom of the frame.imho, those filters are nothing but a pain in the a$$.also make sure the oil level is'nt overfilled.

It's a '16 with 2900 miles. I'll try cleaning the filter. I just figured it was a little odd since I haven't had any leakage issues since putting it on.
Nah man. With that few miles you are almost certainly fine. You are always going to get some build up in the filter. It's just the nature of the beast.
I was talking about the little umbrella valve/filter up in the rocker box. No way you wore those out in 2900 miles.
If my *cold* oil level is higher then 1/2 (midway on the dipstick) I'll get a little carryover to the external breather. As long as it's at 1/2, all I get out of the breather is the water vapor burning off, and maybe a drop of two of oil. Same on both bikes.
I put a little catch can on the end of a T between the two hoses, but honestly, it still pukes out the water when running. No matter what foam or whatever I put in it to absorb. May go back to the dual inlet filter and just live with it, or run a hose down to the deck.

The breather filter is just getting oil saturated, that's all that's happening. I change out my breather filter when it starts to darken; I have 2 breather filters so one is always clean and ready to put on.
Clean it with K&N air filter spray cleaner then rinse it using hot water; you'll be good to go.
