Default What do you use to carry stuff

I will be removing my hard saddlebags to get it repaired due to damage caused by my turn signals license plate relo kit. The license plate mount that holds the turn signal broke (metal fatigue). I will also be removing my fairings and riding naked like many sporty owners.

Anyway, what do you use to carry stuff....backpack, bag on luggage rack, side bag. I love my saddlebags so I am not looking to replace my saddlebags since this is temporary. I have a sissy but don't use it. Any opinions good or bad. I am leaning towards a backpack or luggage rack bag. Side bags seems small but could be wrong. Pics would help. Will be carrying lunch, couple of insulated cups, AG jumper/charger, tools, rain gear.

Thanks for the help!

Generally carry little, but I do have the following in order of size.
A side pack (belt held) big enough for a small side arm, pack of smokes and a cell phone.
A Joe rocket tank bag,
and a back pack.
Which one I use depends on that ride.
I can pack for a three day trip in a decent back pack.

Long trips get the Biker's Friend. Fits on my luggage rack or against my sissy bar.

I have a tall hippie style sissy bar, and a luggage rack for the rear fender.

For everyday, I use a backpack...for camping trips and bike week ill use the same backpack and also a sleeping bag/tent is also on the sissybar/luggage rack.

Depends how much you want to carry, but a backpack is what I occasionally use. I have a tankbag for my Buell, which is an alternative to consider. If you buy one you expand your total carrying capacity once you're back fully dressed once more, while providing extra capacity in the short-term.
