i wouldn't worry about "people". see what explanation the shop give you for their decisions on your tune.
I wasn't riding my 72 this year as I was nearly positive that I was going to sell it as a down payment for a FXDLS. I test rode the FXDLS (and a Street Bob) this past weekend and when I hopped back on my 72, I re-realized how much I really like it.
I just decided that it will need a little more power, so I installed the stage 1 AC I had hanging around for a year and will tune w/ a Power Vision. Once it's got some more pep, I'll take a look at upgrading brakes and suspension.
