I just picked up my Denim Black Street Glide about a week ago. I have the D&D on it and am using PowerVision/Fuel Moto tune. It sounds different then the Low Cat on my fatboy but I like it.
With 500 miles on it now it is beginning to sound like my other D&D pipe (Low Cat). The bike has lower fairings on it now but I don't have a current picture. My only complaint is that it may not be very comfortable for a passenger with the way the rear head pipe is routed. No "cute shoes" on this thing... The pipe sounds and performs great. It is loud when you want it to be but mellows out at cruising speed in 5th and 6th. You can hear the radio just fine and you don't get the droning headache.
I had a D&D Fatcat on my previous bike, a FLD. First gear winded out fast but you could really feel the torque in second though forth. I loved the sound and the power of this pipe. If it wasn't for the warranty, I would buy this again for my SGS. When my warranty expires I'll probably buy one for this bike too.
