Use caution when generalizing. I'm a Harley guy and don't appreciate being lumped in like that.

I don't worry about warranties. Never have never will. To that end having purchased about 200 vehicles in my 77 years, I never have gotten an extended service plan from the first year that they started offering them.
That along with only getting the mandated level of liability insurance coverage, I have saved enough money to have totaled several vehicles and still be ahead of the game.
None of the Harley's had much done with the warranty anyway. Two fuel pumps (Streets), a windshield on a 10 Ultra (spiderweb cracking at the mounting holes and a battery on a 10 Super glide when the battery also had a two year warranty. Now they are twelve months.
A motorcycle is a discretionary purchase and luxury item. If one can not maintain it or it represents a catastrophic loss then it should not be purchased.
Just ask Suzy Orman.

A because there oil line broke and got oil all over the belt at 200 miles
B should be able to handle Harley's stage 4 kit
and if you think i'm full if it call Suburban Harley and ask for pat. I have no problem paying for my stuff none what so ever. and if I'm in the wrong i'm man enough to say so

Well, since this has turned into a bitch session..... I hate it when you pull the last pair of socks out of the drawer, and one of the socks has a big hole in it. WTF...... Ohh, and Dodge trucks, they suck too.........

if you leave it alone there is not a question! Anything you change can be a gray area and void it. OR parts of your warranty. AND IF YOU ADD A PART YOURSELF AND NOT THE DEALER CAN ALSO ADD TO THE QUESTIONS OF VOIDING YOUR WARRANTY!
