I don't worry about warranties. Never have never will. To that end having purchased about 200 vehicles in my 77 years, I never have gotten an extended service plan from the first year that they started offering them.
That along with only getting the mandated level of liability insurance coverage, I have saved enough money to have totaled several vehicles and still be ahead of the game.
None of the Harley's had much done with the warranty anyway. Two fuel pumps (Streets), a windshield on a 10 Ultra (spiderweb cracking at the mounting holes and a battery on a 10 Super glide when the battery also had a two year warranty. Now they are twelve months.
A motorcycle is a discretionary purchase and luxury item. If one can not maintain it or it represents a catastrophic loss then it should not be purchased.
I actually find humor in the thread. Coming from a guy who modified his bike and wanted the MoCo to cover his belt damage. You think he was crying to the dealer or said with a deep harley voice, #$%# you man, this belt sucks.
I did???? MY check book was out ready to write the check or do it myself. the dealer insisted that it should be covered.
A because there oil line broke and got oil all over the belt at 200 miles
B should be able to handle Harley's stage 4 kit
and if you think i'm full if it call Suburban Harley and ask for pat. I have no problem paying for my stuff none what so ever. and if I'm in the wrong i'm man enough to say so
I just find it funny that we have a thread to bitch about people who bitch - in all Caps even.
Do you new guys think this "new bitching" thing is ever going to change? Ahh... nope. It won't. Hasn't in over 11 years in my experience. You either get used to it, or start stupid meaningless threads where you get trolled. Either way, you'll learn....
Enjoy.
Love it...........
Well, since this has turned into a bitch session..... I hate it when you pull the last pair of socks out of the drawer, and one of the socks has a big hole in it. WTF...... Ohh, and Dodge trucks, they suck too.........

if you leave it alone there is not a question! Anything you change can be a gray area and void it. OR parts of your warranty. AND IF YOU ADD A PART YOURSELF AND NOT THE DEALER CAN ALSO ADD TO THE QUESTIONS OF VOIDING YOUR WARRANTY!
I HAVE SEEN MORE CRYING OVER A HARLEY THAN GUYS MODDING HELLCATS. I GUESS MY DEMON WILL BE VOIDED AND I DON'T CARE NOT GOING TO CRY LIKE MOST ON HERE. I HAVE NEVER SEEN MORE PEOPLE CRY AND COMPLAIN. TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR ACTIONS HARLEY SHOULD NOT HAVE TO PAY FOR IT
