Back in the real world, a friend had an angiogram last week and had stints installed due to blockage. That went well and he was back home the next day. That same day, another friend went to the same hospital for open heart surgery again. After a couple of weeks in the hospital he went home. Several days after he was home, he had to go to the ER for fluid around his heart. He is back home again, doing better but still in bad shape and no visitors. Yesterday, my dad had an angiogram because he gets short of breath just walking a short distance. The angiogram showed absolutely nothing wrong. A week before he had the angiogram, my mom had surgery on her eyes for glaucoma.
