I love these bars, very comfortable. My GF rides this most of the time, but I think it's great. If you're 5'3", you may want to stay with 12. Really depends on your seat and how far you pull the bars back before tightening the clamps. On this Fat boy, the seat makes you sit back so it almost feels like you're reaching for the bars.

A good choice would be the Carlini Lo-Pro risers (pictured below) ... the lowest riser I could find. They replace the top have of your bushings. BTW these aren't Carlini bars they are Exile Highbars and are exactly 13" for reference.
Good luck!
I also use carlini riser lo pro # 2, but the riser legs don't go into the tripple tree hole. I use good n tite bushing. Please tell me how to install the bushing so it can look like you did.

the riser legs still appear
I did not do anything special, they just fit. I can tell you at first I was worried because they were really tight. Make sure to not use to top half of your bushing. The part of the riser that is showing on yours but not on mine goes inside the tree and replaces that half of the bushing.
Thank you, I will try as you do. I will return to this forum after I can put the riser foot into the inside of tripple tree like you did, and I will give a picture. Thank you, your information very helpfull. Nice to meet you.

Hello GisengSullivan,
I followed what you did and I have managed to insert the bottom of the riser into the tripple tree. Thank you very much. Nice to meet you.
