I didn't have a problem finding them at a local bearing house.

You want Timken, NSK, or SKF bearings. These are the three brands I would use. It's no fun trying to remove an outer race from a wheel hub because the bearing failed and fell apart...

So Timken, NSK and SKF make bearings compatible with ABS??

can someone tell me what makes an ABS bearing "ABS"? What does an ABS bearing use exactly that is so hard to manufacture?

I cannot believe none of the aftermarket shops have not made a quality kit to fix this issue.

I wonder if that's the issue with my 15 RGS. Had new tires installed last week and now I have a high speed wobble going straight. Dealer says everything is fine. I'm not so sure. Its gotten a little better with 100+ miles on the new tires but it's still there. I'm going on a trip next week so now I'm worried. Getting my 40k done tomorrow so I'll ask about it.

I hope to God you sent those same pictures to the service manager at the dealership you stopped at that said you were OK. SMH

It has an ABS encoder built in to the outside surface of the bearing so the ABS sensor can detect rotational wheel speed.

By the way, there are ways out there to get away from the current ABS encoder bearing offerings. The method below will allow you to use standard bearings and attach you own encoder. And the encoder can be moved and reused.

Had my bike checked out today and all seems well. Maybe the tires just needed a few miles on them.
