I use shooting glasses. Effective, look good, inexpensive enough that you dont feel like you need to take care of them.
I like M&P around $25 to $20 but there is a ton out there and cheap enough to buy for fun and move on to the next if you dont like it.
Since they are shooting glasses, they are also ANSI rated for safety. The specific ones I bought were just a little more expensive around $20/25 or so but I think now discontinued just recently and only have the less expensive ones.
i just got 2 pair of harbor freight safety shades for $1.79 each.
Yep, this! I bought a pair of Harley shades a few years ago for $40 and some asshat stole them off the bar while I was taking a leak.
Google "tinted safety glasses". They are UV protected and are pretty sharp looking. I paid $18 for a six pack shipped to my door. When you scratch or lose them, simply grab another pair. Btw, they block the wind superbly. Here's what mine look like.
Those "free" throw in's you paid for in spades many times over if you have 15 sets, just sayin.
The constant need to replace parts on Oakley's is the exact reason I stoped spending a small fortune on them
I beat the **** out of my glasses, and they replace worn parts and scratched lenses. They are not obligated to do any of that, but they do. What other company does that?
Also, Oakley lens quality is very good. I have a couple pairs of prescription Oakley's that did not seem right when I picked them up from my doctor's office. It was later determined they used Oakley frames and the lenses were made by their usual source for various brands they sell. I now request genuine Oakley lenses.
You should try 7eye sunglasses made by Panoptx. I have a pair of churadas with Airshield and DARKshift photochromic lenses (they are dark in sunlight and clear at night). Best pair of sunglasses I've ever had...and I've had quite a few pair
cheapest ones I can find that I like the look of. Normally get the brown colored lens and generally find them at the pro shop of the golf courses. $10-$15... Replace as needed...
I used to only wear ray ban but I got tired of dropping $300 on glasses so now I have a stack of knock off wayfarers in all different colors my favorite ones are white with semi reflective lenses
