Knucklehed glad we got your oil changed last night wish I would of had the time to ride out with you to Sturgis today but Friday will be here soon enough for me be safe that is one sweet ride you found there.

well them allow me to update!
I camped in the black hills of south Dakota last night. CRAZY thunder and lightning, all night. I got up early and rode through the black hills, gorgeous country and great riding. Went up to Rushmore, deadwood then Sturgis for lunch. I didn't stay long, as I had to get moving.
I made another HD pit stop this time at Sundance Harley for a new oil return hose as mine had begun to split open and was dumping too much oil for my liking. 30 minutes later I'm back on the road. Solid! Great guys at Sundance.
today was an easy day, I rode to Casper, Wyoming. I'm noticing a rougher than usual idle and when i try to bring her up to 80mph, I can feel the rattle and chatter in my teeth, which I didn't notice before. Something to pay attention to. I keep her at 70 - 75 for the most part, around 3k rpm is the tolerable number.
tomorrow, who knows! Haven't decided which area to point myself towards yet.
