Hi all. First timer. I have a 2011 FXDB stat wont start. Things I've done so far... checked all fuses, replaced battery, replaced crank sensor, replaced the voltage regulator, check for spark, checked fuel line and pump, rolled back ECU to stock map from my Fuelpak 3. The bike turns over and just pops and farts. It had been sat about 2 months unstarted while I changed the bars. Wires werent cut and all turn signals, tail light, horn, beam, starter and standby buttons work as they should. After all that troubleshooting, what else could it possibly be? I'm running out of things to change. Oh, and my FP3 or the odometer say I have no error codes.
Cheers
Chris

Been through similar. Ya did the basics, and some your sure wires are all good? Coil is all good? STarter all good? Getting compression new battery. ...
Does the fuel pump prime when ya hit on? Or is there no sound?
Ya check all the fuses?
Changing the bars so ya messed with electrical. All those wires are in check? Remember it won't start if the circuit isn't complete. That's for everything on the bike. So every plug connector etc has to be right or won't start. If ya hrdwired anything have ya double checked? There's just so many variables hard to say. Ya did the basics so it's something little prolly
Thanks guys... yes, the fuel pump primes and the control wires were'nt cut when I changed the bars, like I said, all the buttons/switches do what they are suposed to do. The only thing I havent changed out to new is the ignition coil to the spark plugs, but I figured if i'm getting a spark, there is nothing wrong with the coil. No error codes so I dont even have a starting point. The only one I got is when I changed the crank sensor, and I deliberatly did that to make sure my ECU was actually detecting faults. It cleared as soon as I put the new one on. It's driving me crazy.
I was thinking the kill switch, but gas is also a possibility?
The plot thickens. Now when I try to start it, I get a load of pops and bangs and yellow flames shooting out the tail pipes. So I guess that would mean it's getting gas and sparking.
