I took an M8 for a ride during demo days. I went as far as getting numbers on an upgrade. Basically my bike and $20K to get into a stock Limited. My bike already has a FM 107" in it, it already has better suspension then the M8, not to mention all the other upgrades on my ride. There just isn't enough incentive for me to part with my cash. Paying the difference and upgrading isn't going to put any bigger smile on my face then what my '09 already does. I'll spend my cash on something else and keep riding what I have.
Also with my luck, I'd buy an M8 and every issue they are discussing on the M8 forum, my new ride would be in the shop for.
Made the move today. Traded my '09 Electra glide classic for an ultra limited. Put 150 miles on it and glad I did. Power and handling are much improved.
13 Limited is paid for, besides my 04 Avalanche has 305k and the repairs are getting more frequently. So I'm going to invest in a new Silverado this year.
Doubtful. If they come out with a new frame, I'd what another year for a '19 for all the bugs to be worked out.
My 03 RKC is paid for. My 15 RGS is just about paid for and been a dream. I think if I do anything, it will be keeping the 03 (forever) and selling the 15 for a BMW touring.
Who am I kidding, I'll keep the Harley's at just add bike number 3
I guess I'm going to be the different one. I am swapping my 12 SG in this week on a 17 SG CVO. Sad thing is I have so much tied up in my 12. Bags, Fenders, Paint, Chrome. 197 with head work, cams etc. The 17 power is less but very smooth. The stage 2 boom audio is less than my current system, just like the motorbut I think it will be a great platform. After all of the work on mine, the CVO was the only thing that peeked my interest.
