Besides the obvious black out, rims and stretched bags, what's the difference? When you go to the Harley site and use the compare feature, the only listed difference is the rims and lean angle (for some reason). The audio shows the same, no mention of ABS except they both have ABS light in dash, or security? In Canada, there is a $6K difference, that's a lot of powder coating.
I did a build your bike on the regular RG and shows when you print details that base model RG includes ABS and security.
I'm thinking the lean angle difference would be an increased rear suspension...other than that the only difference im seeing is Boom 4.3 and 5.25 inch speakers in the standard and Boom 6.5 and 6.5 inch speakers in the special
I am thinking the base RG does not have security or ABS standard. The page mentions it as optional. lean angle may be a property of the 18 inch wheel on the RGS
So 5k is
1. ABS, about 900
2. Security, 300
3. 6.5 Boom and bigger speakers, 1k or more? No idea
4. Blacked out stuff trim which is far more expensive and difficult to make than Chrome
5. Painted dash, all the better to reflect in your face.
6. Long saddle bags
