Default Poker Chips

So Ive seen this discussed before in short spurts on other threads. Think it needs its own thread. I know some collect them. How do you display them? Harley poker chip collector box, throw them in a plain box, or what? This is what I came up with. Since I started collecting them when I was stationed up in fairbanks, I just threw them in a box until now. I didn't start taking pictures when I collected the chips until I got down to Idaho. Thats why the two from Alaska are just pictures of t-shirts. I try to get the bike Im on in the shot. If not I just snap get a picture of the shop. Going to get two more next weekend from Lewiston and Spokane. My own personal rule is I have to be there myself to get one. I have had people offer to send me one but I just prefer to get it myself. Preferably riding. Lets see what anyone else came up with.

Very cool idea. I am starting to collect them and thought I would make a display. Right now there are in a custom glass I have, but I like your idea of the map and photo.

There are other posts regarding H-D dealership poker chips.

A friend and I have been collecting them for quite a while and we have several states completely covered as well as many other chips from various states and even a few foreign countries.

My intent (at first) was to visit each dealership to collect the all of the chips from the Great Lakes states but then we had friends and relatives that started picking them up for us also. With the added help we were doing a fantastic job until my friend starter having medical issues and basically got "grounded" for most of this season.
Next season will be dedicated to WI, and the following season will be PA & NY and after that we'll just to pick them up as the opportunity arises.

Both of us have several of the H-D display boards and I still have a bag of chips to load and organize into the boards.

I'll say this....I thought that I had been to a lot of dealerships in my 43+ years of owning and riding Harleys, but this "project" has taken me (us) to many dealerships that we would have not otherwise visited.

My girlfriend had this one made with a picture of me on my bike burned into the wood.

I have mine in a case pretty much identical to philly48. I have about 30 poker chips (only from dealers I actually went to), so it's getting to be a bit much for a map of the US and photos -- although I like that idea.

Work sends me everywhere and I try and get as many as I can. I can hear the "Too Cool for School" and "Doesn't Count Unless You Rode There" crowd making their way over now.

Very cool. I'd show mine but I didn't ride there or fly or even go there...my wife did when she went "home" last year. She got me a six piece set from Harley of Tokyo.

Took a piece of sheet metal and framed it to the wall in my garage and put a peal and stick magnet on the back of the chips.
