Anyone know how deep or how long the head bolt is I need to drill out? I'm only .3 inches in so far.

Measure your OEM replacement stud. You have one of those, right?

No more than 3/8 of an inch best I remember. Been a bit since I had a head off for machine work.

Hi. I am wondering what year the bike is and what kind of paint you used to color the motor? Is that the correct color or just a close facsimile? I have an '86 fxstc that needs the paint done on the motor as well. It seems a little darker than yours though; the original paint does. Thanks.
