good to hear you came through it ok.

Floodwater waves were breaking on my sister's backyard, but the house stayed dry. Lost some shingles and some ripped screens, and a neighbor's 60'? tree just touched the house with it's top branches when it blew over, but no damage. Another tree bent into the power lines and showered the house with burning leaves, but no fire. Talk about lucky! Power's out, too, but her generator is working fine. And bringing it in the house at night, would be like leaving a pile of cash outside...

Top end is finally back together after the piston ring fiasco. Had a middle of the night over ly tired minor freak out not being able to remember how I placed the pistons and was thinking I may have put them in backwards. Quick removal of the rocker box, and head then, lifting the cylinder just far enough proved to me that they are indeed placed correctly. Now on to finishing the last details up and a thorough cleaning before it gets dropped off for a Dyno tune while I'm away in Texas next week.

Maybe we can take our girl bikes for a ride!
Sounds like a plan. I've got my pink handlebar streamers coming...

BTW, I'm glad to read that apparently everyone down in Florida seems to have come thru mostly unscathed!

Hid my bike from Irma in warehouse at my work.

No power at home, but no structural damage so I can't complain. Neighbors weren't so lucky.

Bike staying in warehouse until the traffic signals are back up. People don't understand to treat them like a 4 way stop. Dumb Dumbs are running them and/or trying to rear-end you when you actually stop at them as directed.

Here's a man who has his priorities straight.

Glad you're relatively unscathed.

Discovered that i dropped the ball on loctite at some point

went to ace and got some replacements. In 10-32 and m5x0.8. Can't really tell what the size was but.... 10-32 was tight. Don't care. It will soon be someone else's cover. Party on😉

5/32 allen heads are better than weak T25 torx anyway 😈
