Swapping the turn signals and brake lights and smoked lenses from the Sportster to the Low Rider S and having some issue with getting the lens to snap in. I plug in the led boards, center them and then try and snap the lens into place but no matter what I do, they get almost there but don't "snap" in and seal, always have a 1/32 gap on one end and I'm able to take the lens off with my hand. I've tried both OEM lenses and the aftermarket ones with the same results, worked just fine on the Sportster and I'm told they're the exact same bullet housing. Any tricks that I'm not aware of?

mine never "snapped" either, but I didn't have the gap. I'm going on 2 weeks with them and they haven't fallen off yet lol
they were a little tough to close the gap though, just had to really push it

When I installed mine I positioned the led and then held it in place with a small scratch awl or small screwdriver. Took a few tries but snapped the lens in place.

They're in there ok, but if I can take the cover off no problem with just my hand, doesn't fill me with confidence. I'm sure the gasket is in the way or something but according to their install guide, you need to push back the gasket with a screw driver. I tried this but it's not budging.
This is the kind of gap I'm getting on the turn signals. The brake lights only snapped in when using the OEM lenses. No amount of pushing on the lenses gets it to seat properly.
Most likely the gasket is the issue. Just wish their install video showed the Tech "pushing back the gasket" in more detail. I tried and it's not moving.
I just twisted the LED board so the wires would coil up and was able to get the LED board inset just a bit and the lens popped right in.
Hope that helps

I had to twist up the wiring too, but mine snapped right in.
Couldn't be happier, the increase in brightness is great living where it's frequently foggy and where I do a lot of night riding.

I was able to position them in there so the lens would go on without any gaps, but still no satisfying snap like with regular bulbs.
