what is a good aftermarket day maker type headlight out there?

Just installed the VisionX Vortex 7" with halo... Quick spin around the block, it is indeed quite a bit brighter than stock. Big hot spot, but I like how it covers the corners.

Look up "Headlight Revolution", they've done a very nice comparison of the top makes and models.

Go to eBay and search "7" daymaker headlight for Harley...they're all pretty similar and reading the reviews gives you a pretty good feel for quality. I bought mine (5 3/4 for Dyna) for $55...works great.

JW Speaker Evolution 2

1/2 the price of HD and just as good.
I've heard JW is who makes the Daymaker for HD.
I have the JW on my bike and its a marked improvement over the stock halogen.

I've had the Sunpie off of Amazon for close to a year now, very happy with it.

I run a Trucklites 7" LED on my SGS and and am very pleased with it. BTW where in Queens are you? I grew up in Richmond Hill and now live about 1/2 hour away in Westchester.
