First and most important... a MAJOR thank you for all of the great posts and valuable advice everybody has added to this site. It has been a life and money saver! :-)
I have a 2014 Fat Bob (FXDF) and it has been a life changer. "Life" is a complex journey of peaks-and-valleys and in May of this year I was struggling with a valley. I wrote down a list of things I thought would bring me out of the funk I was in. I have been a dirt bike guy and this is my first street bike (I'm 47). It has been the most rewarding decision I have ever made.
Since Harley Davidson is the "Cadillac" of motorcycles (imho). My list of what bike to buy had just one item. I took the time to go to my local dealers and sit on many different bikes and hit the internet to read people's input on the ones I liked. After a month or so of doing this, I decided upon the Fat Bob... I took a motorcycle certification class and I'm glad I did. It built up confidence for this new bike owner and down the road I went.
I look forward to discovering / learning new things from this site and contribute where I can.
