When you're not riding do you jack it up? Just fill the tank, put some additive in and move it once in awhile to avoid flat spots. BTW, the flat spots go away first ride when the tire heats up.
im with you especially with a touring bike and lowers, when no salt on main roads I ride, longest I ever had to store was about 7 weeks the year we had the blizzard.. most times I can get out at least once per month but he is in dear park NY and that may make the difference..
It is no big deal. Clean it add fuel stabilizer. Air up tires . Plug in battery tender and lock it up. Come back in 6 months unlock it and ride off.
Mine some times were locked up 15-18 months while deployed never suffered any harm
An arm injury (not riding related) and two subsequent surgeries kept me off the bike for almost a year. I already had it on the tender, so I just added some stabilizer. When I was ready to ride, I checked the tires, changed the oil, and she was good to go.

But as to the OP, I have never jacked my bikes over the winter. I do try to ride them once a month if the weather breaks. But even when I don't, I've never gotten a flat spot on the Dunlops I run on my bikes. Sta-Bil or Sea Foam in the tanks with 91-octane non-ethanol gas for sure.
