Removed original plastic "Chrome" tank badges and had a pinstriper hand letter it.

Has anyone have taken the HD badges off, and not have badges on the tank at all ? ?

You cannot do it on a new bike, it will invalidate the warranty.

Yeah, I saw that one and liked it too. Hard to find it under $200-250 tho'.

Hard to believe it actually costs that much, so perhaps they are just trying to ensure its "deluxe" exclusivity?

My Night Train when I first bought it with the tank badge and then after the repaint I pulled off the badges and never put on anything.

Yeah, and then on the plus side of, when someone asks you what kind of bike it is, you can just tell them it's a Honda, and then they'll leave you alone.
