Glad you and the deer missed. I ran though about 10 of them and hit 2. Almost a year ago. Lost the bike for 2 months while front end including triple tree was replaced. I exploded it and actually emptied its entire insides all over me and the bike. Carried the deer in my lap until I stopped. Was doing 55 at impact. Lucky it was a smaller one. Bumped a larger doe with the right side while taking the smaller on the left. Did balance the bike quite nicely allowing me to not wreck.
