Maybe the MoCo should come out with a $65,000 bike and call it the "Poser Glide".
That market's growing by leaps and bounds right now!!!
Then there could be the "Poser Glide Ultra-Elite-Super-Limited CVO" model. Gold plate instead of chrome, and black chrome instead of paint. Included is a solid gold key (natch) and a gilt-trimmed trailer with (optional) chrome wheels and racing tires to take it to Sturgis once a year and to the bars the rest of the time (The Mega-exclusive, 8 valves per cylinder 150 cu. in. M16 engine doesn't actually RUN, or anything like that). Only $144,995 (plus dealer fees, taxes, and additional dealer doc fees a'course) A non-intention-to-actually-ride document must be signed upon taking delivery.
****! They'd sell a million of 'em!
Love it. The new thing is copper and powder coat that Harley calls black chrome and charges thousands for.
I woulda traded a nut for the Midnight Special back in the day. I've always liked "black chrome".
Just the "New thing" and now Harley offers the copper collection lol. I know blacked out bikes have been around for years but Its all new to Harley lol. Blackout the 18' RGS and SGS and call it black chrome and charge thousands more is what i meant
Well Yoda.......I was merely presenting - and here's the key to all of this - in my opinion - an analogous situation. A discussion forum this is. Participate I do. Opinions I have. Get over it you must.
cute.... i merely replied that you posted something on this thread , that by your own admission was not relevant to the thread....confused i am...... so as far as getting the above msrp CVO i bought a car at msrp and i saw a bike.....there now we are good.. that wasent relevant either
I woulda traded a nut for the Midnight Special back in the day. I've always liked "black chrome".
I remember that bike. I wasn't old enough to ride back then but I was going around town on the back of my Dad's bike and he used to stop at all the dealers and we'd drool at the bikes. I think he had a Suzuki GS750 with a 4 into 1 Kerker on it at the time. That thing wailed like a banshee and I remember complaining I couldn't keep my feet on the pegs because of the vibration. Dad told me to press down with my feet but it didn't work. I was like 6 years old!
Right after they make the âhater glideâ which will consist of a rigid frame, 80 CI engine, kickstart, skinny bias ply tires, an 8 track player, and seats with springs under it. The bike will be made out of leftover parts they canât use anymore. It will be sold for 9k so all the haters that hate anything new or fancy can claim the title of being a âbadassâ. Because everyone knows people that like nice things and worked hard for their money shouldnât be able to enjoy motorcycles like the tough guys who avoid personal hygiene.
